Project Manager: (The position is urgently required) No. of Positions: 1 Location: Multan (with frequent travel within project area) Application Deadline: January 02, 2015 Vacancy Type: Internal/External Languages Required: English, Urdu Duration of Initial Contract: Fixed Term (Seven months) Project Brief: For an expected project to be implemented in four districts of Southern Punjab i.e. Multan, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh and Lodhran, HRDN is seeking expression of interest from qualified individuals. Primary objective of expected project is to promote and implement the project activities focused on young graduates and students of masters and graduate studies. Purpose of the Job: Working under direct supervision and guidance of Executive Director, Project Manager will be responsible for following duties: - Duties and Responsibilities: • Summary of key function/ Results • Overall supervision and management of the project • Periodic monitoring of the project implementation • Develop, lead and manage close liaison with public, private university heads, educationists and among key members of the civil society. • Responsible for developing linkages with Civil Society organizations, religious scholars, celebrities, politicians and youths through stakeholder’s dialogue and stakeholder’s awareness campaign. • Lead, design and manage activities of the project to increase awareness among youth to achieve the overall objectives of the project. • Develop an effective advocacy strategy to ensure quality output of project deliverables. • Designing of media campaign in close coordination with all stake holders. • Develop effective communication strategies for the project. • Reporting to donor (monthly, quarterly and project end) • Technical inputs regarding project implementation. • Extend support in arranging meetings with national, local government authorities, elected representatives, civil society and other stakeholders. • Capacity and team building of project staff • Monitoring of the project activities. • Drafting progress reports (Narrative and Financial – monthly, quarterly and end of project reports) with the donor.
