JOB DESCRIPTION MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT Job Title: Menstrual Hygiene Management Assistant (Female) - 1 Position Duty Station: Bahawalpur Gross Salary: Up to PKR 30,000/- Per Month (depends upon skills and experience) Contract Duration: 12 Months Key Expectations: The position is expected to implement and coordinate with communities according to WASH/ CLTS approach in a timely & successful manner and as per the guidelines and requirements shared in the PCA and provide by Project Manager. General Responsibilities: To adapt to the changing environment of NGO sector and forces of the competitive world. To maintain constructive, purposeful, trust based and sincere relations with all colleagues working above or under whether directly or indirectly associated. To continuously upgrade own knowledge, skills, attitude and application to become more valuable member of MUSLIM AID family. To update management and other concerned with any development, internal or external, which can be of help to improve quality, provide better services and effectiveness and efficiency. To participate in all meetings, committees, forums, projects and assignments as required and expected. To continuously think for betterment of MUSLIM AID, its progress and its ability to fulfill its mission. To maintain highest standards of honesty and integrity in all disciplines Major Responsibilities: The MHM Assistant – Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Officer will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of the project activities. Implementation of the project at targeted Union Councils and community level based on the project documents and community consultation in coordination with Project team. Provide technical support on Menstrual Health Management to community-based Organizations and in School (students) Establishing and maintaining appropriate working relationships with all project implementing partners to build meaningful relationships in the district. Preparation of project related reports that are timely and of high quality based on the key project indicators and reporting formats as required by the donor. Documentation of project processes on development of good practices, among others for learning. Carry out community mobilization and sensitization on access to and importance of MHM services in School and targeted Communities. Facilitate/organize/deliver capacity building sessions on Menstrual Health Management. Facilitate participatory project monitoring and evaluation sessions for effective service delivery. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Bachelor degree in Social Work/Social Sciences or development studies. Experience of working on initiatives related to MHM. Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel spread Sheets and PowerPoint presentation) Experience & knowledge in participatory & rights based approaches to development Ability to work in teams with good negotiation, partnership building, networking, facilitation, documentation, report writing, and communication (both oral & written) skills. Personal Attributes: Ability to read and write well in local languages, and the national language. Computer skills or potential to learn them, focus on word processing Internet skills or potential to learn them; focus on research (and email) Language: Urdu and English is compulsory both reading and writing KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to produce a positive and effective environment both in field and in office.
